The Uniqa Tower In Vienna Opens Its Doors, July 2004

After three years of constructing the 75 m high tower has been opened. Architect Heinz Neumann planed the building as the new headquarter for the Austrian insurance company Uniqa. 1,100 people are working there.

Because of the big enviromential and economical benefits of enercret, the system has been integrated into the system of home automatisation. 7,800 m² of diaphragm walls have been fitted with energy pipings and will have an energy output of about 819 MWh per year which is used for cooling. 646 MWh are used for heating (cooling capacity 240 kW /heating capacity 420 kW).
